REDUCED Antique Hertwig China Head Doll - 4 1/2" Tall - Outstanding

This little lady was made by Hertwig & Co. Porcelain Factory, Thuringia, Germany, around the late 1800's. She is only 4 1/2" tall. She has a china head with a lowbrow hair style. Her arms and legs are bisque. She is marked on the back of her shoulder plate: GERMANY R 15. Her arms are also marked with the number 15. Her body is cloth.

She is wearing a beautiful original outfit which I believe is made of silk. The dress is faded pink in color and underneath is a faded cream color slip and pantaloons. The slip has a tiny hole and a small tear on the lace.

She has good painted facial features as well as black painted shoes. For her age she is in very good condition!
