This very nice antique pewter measuring mug was made in the late 1800's (late 19th Century) by James Yates in Birmingham, England. To the right of the handle below the upper rim is marked: JAMES YATES - and below that is: 1/2 PINT.

It measures 3 1/2" high with a base diameter of 3" and a top diameter of 2". As a used piece this old and being pewter, it has the normal dings, nicks, and wear.

A very nice find!
