This is a beautiful school girl needlework sampler by Maty MacDells Rungill in 1834.
Maty MacDells Rungill was a young Irish girl, who lived in Iowa in the early 1800's.
I received this sampler from a neighbor, who is a great granddaughter of Maty.
The sampler is in very good condition, but it does have some ware on a few stitches. It is embroidered on a linen piece and lined with the edge being a satin material hand sewn with tiny stitches.
The sampler is approximately 15" X 18". It has been behind glass in a frame, which I have removed for better pictures. The frame is a little small for the sampler. The sampler can be mailed with or without the frame. It is your choice. The sampler shows the alphabet letters and numbers plus a verse. It has a border of simple vines and flowers.
Shipping cost is for the sampler without the frame. If you would like the shipping cost with the frame, please email me.
I have Free shipping for the sampler within the lower USA.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
