This Fenton Red Carnival Chessie Cat Covered Dish was produced by Fenton in 1991 only and is not seen very often. No Chips or Cracks, This is new old stock in excellent condition. Approximate size is Height 8" and Width is 4 1/2", Marking are Chessie 1991 by Fenton. The sleeping kitten was designed by Guido Gruenwald. The Chessie Cat is the advertising logo for the Chesapeake Railroad. Fenton began to produce these beautiful Chessie Covered Dishes in the 1970 in Amethyst Carnival and was designed by Anthony Rosena. Fenton then began to produce these in other colors and as special orders. I have Free Shipping on this great Fenton Item.
