Just imagine having to use a piece of history like this to make your own butter, but back in the day it was a functioning piece for household use. Still operational, it could still be used today. The stenciling on the front is not real clear to read, but I can make out "Hall Bros. ~ Approved ~ Huntington, N.Y." There is more but that is all I can make out.

White cedar cylinder barrel style with a working crank handle. Inside paddles are all intact. Lift off cover. Great old primitive decorating piece.
