Lovely is this Victorian Era, circa 1915, genuine handcarved onyx cameo ring. Beautiful contrast of the milky-white layer upon the jet black. The square cameo is 12 MM wide X 15 MM long. Nice carving of profile of a period woman, delicately sculpted hair, features, collr and - yes - a drop earring.

Second pictures shows the fine etching on the band. Band, at wides point is 15 MM; at narrowest, 5 MM. It is over a millimeter thick. One tiny, tiny chip, ie; see bottom of cameo, a little to the left - tiny as in a tenth of a millimeter. Wonderful condition for its age. Size 9.
