There is absolutely lovely carving - and wonderful relief - and detail on this slightly-post-Victorian Era genuine ivory, handcarved cameo. Note the wavy locks, detailed crown, facial features. Cameo's relief is just under 1/4" at the highest point.

This brooch is set in a 10K GF bezel; ornamental bead-work dots the bezel. The ivory has mellowed to a lovely-creamy hue. Piece measures 1 7/8" x 2 1/4" overall. Great period piece.
