There is lots of action in this beautifully-carved, Victorian-era ivory brooch, measuring 2" in diameter.

A horned bull chases a marsupial-looking creature across the landscape; in the background are finely-detailed trees, dimensional ground. There is petal-like carving on the outer edges of the brooch. On the back, the pin-holder and the clasp are self-carved from the same piece of ivory - interesting feature - and all in mint condition.
