And, indeed, this is a beautiful, luscious cameo - from Italy - from the 1940's - in a salmon-color, genuine coral, perfect condition - exquisitely carved - high relief.

The detail of the piece is superb: note the double strand of squarish beads the lady wears; the double row of beads in her elaborately-curled hairdo; the dimensions of the rose on her shoulder - her collar with its folds and cross-hatching.

Cameo, worn as either brooch or pendant, is set in a "frame-like" bezel - granular gold - all 14 KG - finish, with four "flowers" that contain gold beading. Piece measures 35 MM x 45 MM.
