This is a unique handcarved genuine bone necklace, circa late 1800's, mellowed to a nice hue.

Necklace measures, each side, from bottom of the "basket", to the barrel-closure top, 14". The "basket" measures 1 1/2" width X 2" length; the eight medallions, floral, are 3/4" across, any direction. The beads are all 6 MM.

Nice piece, in excellent condition; string fairly taut (ie; no immediate danger of it breaking apart as you are wearing it).
