She is a "gem", this milky-white, artfully-carved Roman woman, so aristocratic in pose. She sits in a "leafy basket" of 14 KG, which contains four 3 MM, each 2-point carats.

The cameo, dating from the early 1900's is set on a 14 KG "base", which has been shaped as an "outline" of the cameo. A tightly "twisted-rope" forms the frame around the cameo; it attaches to the back of the leafy portion.

At the widest points, the piece measures 58 MM X 45 MM. There is a matching twisted-rope bail on top, 10 MM in diameter.

The item is in excellent condition; unique piece for your upscale cameo collection.
