This is an unusual bracelet, from Italy, with six cameos, each depicting a Roman "battle" scene. Each cameo measures 20 MM x 15 MM, bezel included; 160 MM is the length of the bracelet, clasp not included.

These souvenir bracelet, other jewelry items, were cheaply purchased and brought back from, in this case, Italy, in this era, much as today we purchase a a little, inexpensive charm, reminder of our journey.

The piece is in excellent condition. It is hand-carved from shell. On the clasp, it is stamped "800"; this leads me to believe it was set in Portugal, rather than Italy.
