Chic & Just plain ole Fabulous is this Vintage Princess Cut Pea Coat. Straight out of the 50s & 60s yet incredibly Stylish for Today showing off a stellar Retro Bohemian flair thats to die for!!

Its Labeled as a "Muriel Modes" "of Patchogue L.I.", which was a very popular fashion store here in our local Long Island town back in those good ole days. It closed in the late 1960s or very early 1970s, & all the local ladies here look for these pieces for their collections....for the local history of it all & because the store was very popular across long island for their stylish pieces...& well, ..as you can see, this is definitely one!

It's made of a creamy tan wool or heavy woven cotton material...& im guessing because there is no material tag...(sorry),...but its extremely warm & cozy & better yet......it sports an ultra fluffy, large, notched, faux fur collar & thick chunky matching faux fur sleeve cuffs!!!...Oh What a Glam Statement!! The faux fur resembles the look of beautiful fox fur too, & how great is it that you get the look of a great fur piece yet you are supporting animal rights & no fur all while still looking fabulous!

It has a double breasted front with black marble styled buttons, & carries two front, eye catching, pockets that are trimmed with an arrow shaped detailing. Its elegantly lined in a golden tan satin & besides the main "Muriel Modes" label it also carries a small label by the "ILGWU" - the " International Ladies Garment Workers Union".

Its in Excellent, gently used condition with no major flaws. It's a nice larger size, which is hard to find in these vintage pieces & oh how sweet it is when you do!
