Ikebana in Japan has brought a big part in Japanese lives and culture, back to back to this is the tea ceremony which this tradition joined always together. On the bottom is an example photo of how to decorate the ikebana.
Kado or Ikebana" the art of flower arranging, has been developed as a typically Japanese form of art side by side with tea ceremony. It has roots in the 6th century, the ritual flower offerings made by Buddhist priests. However, it was not until the 15th century that the arrangement of flowers developed into an art form. The Ikenobo school, founded by Seinkei Ikenobo in the 15th century,is thought to be the oldest flower arrangement school, and from then many schools have been founded like Enshu, Koryu,Ohara, etc. This is a great addition to any of Ikebana art collection.
