Blue Ridge: Rare Demitasse Cup & Saucer Design

For Blue Ridge (Southern Potteries of Tenn.) vintage pieces, this is a rare, exuberant pattern (‘Whig Rose’?) from the 1940’s. The cup features 2 of the small-bouquets with rose, leaves, assorted small flowers; the saucer has 3 of the same designs around it. Measurements: Cup 2” tall x 2 ½” top opening; Saucer 4 5/8” diameter + 6 scallops + Blue Ridge ink-stamp on underneath. Both pieces are in mint condition throughout (cup has a tiny mfr’s. chip on under edge--under glaze, not damage). No stains, cracks or chips anywhere. A most charming design, one of hundreds to be collected.
