Original Arts & Crafts Repousse Design Tea Caddy

Here is a wonderful piece to add to your Arts & Crafts kitchen/dining room décor. It is a 6” tall x 3 ½” square brass tea caddy, white-metal lined box with a hinged lid. Lid has its original patina + a bezel-set cobalt disc; the box has been cleaned at some point & is just beginning to get its patina back, as shown. All 4 sides of the box have an Arts & Crafts fantasy flower (panels pounded into the brass from the back. There is no maker’s mark, but obviously made by a craftsman. Condition is excellent, not quite mint after 100 years. The lid top needs to be glued to lid bottom, and has a very light dent on back right corner, and there are 2 small stains which I have left for you to decide whether or not to clean off. This is a terrific piece to display when not in use.
