Set of four Madeira handkerchiefs, in original Christmas gift box from Carson Pirie Scott & Co, in Chicago, probably circa 1940s judging by the box paper style. The hankies are all still folded and have their paper stickers in one corner: Hand Made in Madeira, Portugal. Each is 12” square, and each has a different embroidered decoration and edging. We will consider selling them separately if you wish to make an offer on one or more.

We also have a second hanky in the butterfly pattern, which we will sell individually or as a set of the two, if you prefer. Just make us an offer on which ones you’d like! No stains, tears or other damage. Box paper has some wear and tear in spots (see photo). From an estate sale we visited recently. Free insured shipping in US.
