Bakelite and intaglio shawl or cape clasp with brass hardware. Deeply carved black medallions with clear dome centers, reverse carved and painted with roses in four colors - red, purple, green and yellow. As the photos show, they positively glow in the light. The brass fittings shined up well with a little polish but still retain a nice patina on their rope-look accents. Piece measures 5 15/16" across total and each medallion is 1 1/16" across. Two eyelets are on backs of each for sewing to garment. A really dramatic clasp for the right garment. US insured shipping is always free on all our jewelry.
