Rex Fifth Avenue rectangular faux guilloche and enamel compact. Genuine engine turn work on the top and the brass bottom; top of case is covered with a green tinted (?) plastic. Very difficult to tell if there is real enameling or not, but the plastic top probably indicates no true enameling underneath. Ohh, this little guy is so sweet! Deep red enamel scottie dog with a silver border and detailing, polishes up like sterling. This little doggie adorns an old fashioned metal tie bar. There is some detail cut work in the metal under the enameling too, giving him a real "furry" look. One teeny little nick in the enamel, seen through the loupe.
