The Book of the Dun Cow by Walter Wangerin, Jr., Harper & Row, Copyright 1978, 241 pages, first edition of this edition.. Book is in perfect condition*, probably never read. The dust jacket has a teeny closed tear on back cover and a spot of ink. Otherwise clean, book is very tight. This book has been compared to Animal Farm, Watership Down & The Lord of the Rings. I've read it twice (different edition though). It's an allegorical fantasty about the age old struggle between good and evil. * There is a pasted down bookplate that depicts crashing waves. It is an image that may be a Japanese woodcut. The name on the ex libris is Patti Pope.
