Price is for both books. These two books are unused. They are hardback books that each bear a stamp on the inside front cover that states "This is a California State Textbook". They are published by California State Department of Education, Sacramento 1958. One is titled "Music in Our Country" (228 pages) and the other is "Music Near and Far" (196 pages). Both books are tight, no odors, no flaws. They have several color illustrations. The illustrations are by Feodo Rojankovsky & Jean Mursell. They contain many, many popular songs/music; Home on the Range, Old Texas, Down in a Coal MIne, Jolly Miller, Silent Night, Down in the Valley, The Lemon Tree, America the Beautiful, The Little Sandman, Jingling Bracelets, Yankee Doodle, O Susanna and so many more. This would make a great gift for a baby boomer (like myself, they grew up singing the songs from these books).
