SALE Vintage Framed & Signed Delft Plaque~Hand Painted Purple Crocus

This is a very unusual and collectible piece of hand-painted Delft ware. It is the lovely blue you expect to find in vintage pieces but also has a huge, bold motif of purple crocus flowers on the forefront of the tile. The flowers are deep shades of purple with yellow centers and dark green leaves. The windmill pictured is a Wipmolen (a hollow post mill built entirely of wood. Wipmolen date back to 1300 & there are many still in use today). This piece measures 6 1/2" X 6 1/2". The backing paper that shows much age & wear but clearly explains four different types of windmills. It is framed in wood & there is a goldtone hanger on the back making this lovely piece ready for display. It is signed "CAD" or :"CAN".
