This is a big, bold political statement by artist Eduardo S. Hernandez. framed in a black metal frame (under glass)., The painting depicts three men subverted underground waiting to explode. The title of the piece is "Viva Nicaragua Libre". It is pencil signed on the right hand bottom "Eduardo S. Hernandez September 87". The left hand bottom states "Sandino/Ayer/Ahora/Para/Siempre" (Yesterday, Now, Always! ). The outside frame dimensions are 14" x 23". The piece is in excellent condition except for some slight waffling of the paper under the glass. The mountain is simmering with a red hot horizon & red flames/gases are just starting to find their way into the open & free blue skies. This is a great & unusual piece.
