Layaway is available (on a case-by-case basis) for expensive items. I cannot sell consignment items via layaway. Layaway is a convenience to help you get stuff you want on terms you can manage, but it is a binding contract. Flexible, but binding.

If you aren't sure, please don't place an order. But, since we are human and stuff happens, if you need to cancel, I will take care of it without making it into a big deal ... as it isn't on layaway. PLEASE tell me if you want to cancel. Don't make me guess from your silence!

I would appreciate it if you would include your home telephone and address with your order. Time zone differences can make communicating with your office difficult. This applies even if you want the item(s) shipped to your office or other location.

If for some reason, you can't pay promptly, tell me. If I don't hear from you and payment fails to materialize, I will cancel your order and return the item(s) to inventory. If you still want it, you can re-purchase it.

Ask questions! If you want more pictures or other information, I will gladly provide it. I respond to every inquiry, email, offer, and telephone call as quickly as I can.

About Us
I'm a boomer. Born in '47, grew up in the late 50s, a teenager through the 60s.

I'm also a writer with a recently published novel. I love dogs (we have 5), medieval history, roller coasters, mountain tops, teepees and the city of Jerusalem where I lived for nearly a decade. I'm an original computer geek, and was one before there was even a name for it.

My husband wanted to be an actor, but settled for being a TV news reporter. He has 3 Emmy awards, an encyclopedic knowledge of old movies, and an astonishing memory for sports, politics and history. He lives and dies with the Red Sox and reads 2 newspapers a day.

I hope that Kismet reflects us ... our differences, our passions, our curiosity, our zest for life ... all leavened with a sense of humor.
