Antique Native American Root Burl Walking Stick Carved

This is a wonderful antique walking stick or cane. It is made of wood and has a burl root top like the Native American war clubs from around this area. The long area is also carved all the way down with a nice chip carved leaf like design. It measures 37 ½ x 7 x 6 ¾ inches. It was found in Maine and due to the similarity in form and carving to the Native clubs is thought to be Native made. The handle is very comfortable. There is some light expected age wear some rough tips on the root but they look old, overall in very good condition.
