This is a very nice and special piece to those who collect The Artistic Jewelry Co. or those that collect hard to find antiques made in Denver Colorado. It is a very involved piece of artwork. It is a spoon with a depiction of miners working a silver mine. Very detailed with workers with pick axes and workers hauling silver up via a bucket and lots going on. The artwork is wonderful. On the back it reads The Artistic Jewelry co Denver Colorado Silver (so it is made of Colorado silver perhaps from the depicted mine). It is also engraved 1866 – 1891 on the back. It measures 5.75 x 1.25 inches. It is in excellent condition. I know photos will not do the detailed work justice so this will be nicer in person.
