Fit for a Lady, this most beautiful cameo brooch is Italian in origin and expertly carved in good relief from carnelian (cornelian) shell. This is a beautiful hand carved cameo of a lovley lady facing right. A nice detailed one set into a artist made more contemporary though fitting 14 kt gold setting. The cameo is made to wear as a pin or pendant. It measures 1 1/8 x 7/8 inches. This came from a jewelers estate. We have more cameos in our shop so take a look.
