Antiques:Folk Art

This is a beautiful American Hand Carved Walnut or Cherry Tree Type hard wood. It is signed on the top crown piece with the initials ST in a stylized manner. Into the board are carved detailed bird, branches and leaves. It has 7 spoon holders or holes. It measures 18 inches wide by 12 inches high and 3.25 inches deep. It has an old split that was glued all along the middle with some very slight loss. Otherwise in excellent condition.
