This is a delightful story of Rosie and the sign on her door that reads ‘If you want to know a secret, knock three times’. Then it goes on to tell of her imitation and the people she pretends to be. It is really a wonderful children’s story. This is a 1st Edition and considered a hard-to-find book. It has a hardcover with the original dust jacket that does have some shelf wear and some small tears and creases along with some smudges. The Story and pictures are by Maurice Sendak; it was copyrighted in 1960 and published by Harper & Row. The book itself is in mint condition with the pages free of marks or tears. All pages are crisp. The dimensions are 9” by 7” and is for ages 4 to 8. What a wonderful gift this would make for Christmas or any other occasion.
