Rare Coro Lovebirds Fur Clips in a Heart Duette - Book Piece

This is the rarely seen vintage duette fur clip set, designed by Verrecchio for Coro. Signed PAT NO. 1798867, it measures approximately 2" by 3-5/8" in length. It has pink moonglow glass stones, enamel and clear rhinestones. This piece can be seen in Harrice Miller Simmon's book, Costume Jewelry Official Identification & Price Guide First Edition (1990). A few of the rhinestones have darkened, but the rest are beautiful and the enamel work is excellent. The clips are tight and the clasp works perfectly.
