Hello and welcome to my shop. My name is Kathleen and I have been an avid collector of vintage costume, jewelery for the last 10 years or so. Many of the items, if not all, are signed pieces that are absolute beauties. They are a testament to the detail and craftsmanship that went into each and every piece. More than that, some 50 years or more later, they are still alive with vibrant color, and presence.

I got my first taste of vintage jewelery when I bought a GUSTAVE SHERMAN crystal necklace from my local antique dealer. It was a beauty and I was hooked. I find his pieces to be the best of the best, in that the settings, rhinestones or crystals which are SWAROVSKI and nothing else, and his eye for design and creativity are second to none. I have gone on to collect many other designers since, but my heart will always be with GUSTAVE whose pieces have absolutely passed the test of time.

May I just say that I have worn most, if not all, of the beautiful pieces in my shop. I have had the opportunity to enjoy these jewels, have other people ooh and aah over them, and then pass them on to someone else for their own adornment and enjoyment. That in my opinion is the absolute beauty of vintage... it can be worn and worn again. These pieces have stood the test of time..... they were made in an era when "throw away" was unheard of. Artisans, craftsmen, creative minds, took pride in what they were making, and made sure that it was of quality and would last. Well they have achieved both ends.... need I say more.

I myself, am also a creative person, I have made many bracelets and necklaces for myself, and on wearing them, have received compliments on their beauty, color combinations, and overall presence.... I have been told on more than one occasion that I should sell them... That being said, it helps me to appreciate the beauty, creativity, and overall thought process that goes into creating something. I myself, have looked in amazement at some jewelery pieces and thought WOW... how imaginative,creative, amazing is that!!!!! What an artist!!!!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been attracted to things that sparkle and the pieces that you will see are such, pieces of creative art, creative expression of the talented artisans that made them. SHERMAN, CAVINESS, CARNEGIE, CASTLECLIFFE, REGENCY, CONTINENTAL, JULIANA , DE MARIO, just to name a few.
