DECO Half Doll Lamps with Elbows Up and Away and done in Plastic. The half dolls are in very good to excellent condition-there are a couple of mars, but based on the construction of the dolls I believe that these may be original from manufacturing. The coloring of the dolls seems just a bit faded. The lamps had skirt covers on them when I purchased, but the elastic was dry rotted and the skirts a dark gray in color! I have gently cleaned the skirts, but the elastic will need to be replaced and there is damage to the interior plastic skirt lining. The plastic skirt shells/base on the bottom of the lamps are in very good condition. There are a couple of small cracks at the bottom on each, but these appear to have been repaired before any real damage occured. The lamps WORK, but I would seriously recommend rewiring as it is the original and they do NOT meet the current UL electrical standards. They measure a tall 16", the half doll is 8" from torso bottom to lamp fixture, and the plastic skirt area is 11.5" across. The cord is approx. 6 feet in length. I personally like the raised leaf pattern that adorns the plastic skirt/base area. They do not have any manufacturing labels, only the United Laboratories labels and at the bottom of these they say Portable Lamp, Softlite.
