This Glass Musical box allows the viewing of the musical player within the box. The artwork on top shows a child in luxurious winter cap and coat holding an armful of gathered pine cones.

It’s the artistic work from Maud Humphrey Bogart, motion picture legend Humphrey Bogart’s mother. Maud Humphrey Bogart is renowned in her own right as a popular artist and illustrator while her series of watercolors romanticizing infants wearing long curls, period garments and innocent smiles was famous in America and throughout the world.

The piece played by this music box is the traditional English folk song and tune of Greensleeves. With the delightful scene and music this is a special and lovely winter keepsake box.

The wind up key is on the bottom and it plays when the lid is lifted with a shut off fitting when it’s closed. The size would be 3½ by 2½. The inner space will only hold a key, a charm or a small item.
