The pattern is called Alana that is found in this sparkling and delicate crystal hurricane table lamp. This is a Waterford lamp and the strength and artistic skill is amazing to see and feel. The cuts have been precisely made over and over again to the final repeating pattern. The base is a level by level work of beauty. I can imagine that with a candle lit in this lamp it would shimmer like there were 1000 stars live in a night sky.

It has the acid-stamped Waterford on the base. The measurements are as follows:

Lamp: 4 ½” height, diameter 3 7/8” Base: 4 ¼” height, diameter 3 ½” (almost) Combined: 7 7/8” height

I’ve checked both pieces carefully and have found no chips, cracks, dings or other damage and this lamp is in excellent condition. You may wish to consider this set as a gift for an upcoming occasion or even add it to your own collection of crystal to enjoy.

If you Google “Waterford Crystal” you can select the factory tour which is “a magical journey reflecting on 200 years of glass making” but even more you will find the history, beauty and inspired skill used by the generations of craftsmen who have worked the Waterford Crystal. It’s a minimum 8 years training on the diamond-tipped cutting wheel that the Masters have which enables them to judge the pressure needed to hold the crystal to the wheel.

Before products ever left the factory the quality checks were there to maintain the highest standards... which is why this company has a 200 year history.

Even if you don’t decide you’d like to purchase this special Waterford Hurricane Lamp in the Alana Pattern thank you for stopping by to enjoy its beauty. I hope you’ll look at other items in my shop today and perhaps something will be just as enjoyable.
