Art Nouveau Design Pressed Glass Dresser Tray

This neat glass tray or rectangular platter is terrific for keeping all your perfume bottles organized and displayed on your dresser top. It is of wonderful, heavy pressed glass weighing a heavy 4-1/2 pounds.

I believe this tray is "Early American Pressed Glass," or EAPG. Wonderful Crystal clear and heavy old glass. The interior is perfectly smooth, with a slight circle design impressed to its center. The bottom has a slightly pebbled effect showing thru. The highly detailed edges are impressed slanted oblong lines and the pattern on each of the four edges is a circular glass piece with a fern shape to it’s center and then edges radiating out -- very art nouveau styling to this old tray!

Measurements: This is approximately 8-1/4” inches wide and 12-1/2” inches long. Its deep rim stands a full 1-inch tall.

Condition: This has been lovingly used, underneath the detailed edge rims there is roughness, showing chips and nicks. One edge has a larger chip to it. Please note that these rim chips are only on the underside of tray and do not show thru. The interior of tray has a “straw mark” showing across it’s middle along with one small (pinky-size) indent that was made during its manufacture.
