Here is the sweetest composition doll. “Joe” has a molded hand-painted face and his body is sculpted of a sateen material, stuffed tightly and finished with felt feet. Joe has his corduroy hat or “tam” at a rakish angle.

“Joe” looks like he could be of Irish or Scottish ancestry and he measures 10-1/4” tall by 5” across shoulders with a stuffed cloth body, legs and felt feet. His head is sewn right to his body – you can see the stitches.

Joe has a beautifully painted happy expression on his molded face - I expect him to burst out whistling he looks so happy! He also has two golden curls peeking out at the sides of his tam.

Joe does have some water stains to his body, mostly showing up on his light brown pants, because of the many colors to his shirt, other stains don’t show. His face is in wonderful shape with no cracks or chips and one light stain on the left side of his neck. I believe from the feel that Joe has a papier mache face, he is unmarked.
