Welcome to my shop! I have experience with pottery, books (and cats) and hope I can help you find what you're looking for!
This was made to match all the wooden chicken decor from the 50's kitschy kitchens. These colorful painted chickens certainly add to the country kitchen charm!
A Rooster and Hen are painted to the front of this napkin holder while underneath them it states "We'll Hold the Napkins." Japan is stamped to base. Great chicken/kitchen collectible.
Measures approx. 7" tall on back and 4-3/4" tall on front piece x 6" wide and the base is 2 1/4" deep. There are two holes to back for hanging and there are two wooden "flip-outs" on both sides of this holder for what were the salt and pepper shaker holders, which are long gone. They do fold nicely into the base of this holder, however. This old piece is very clean with no paint loss or stains.
As always, thanx for shopping Katiques!
