SALE Vintage Quail/Pheasant Game Bird Plate

This is a wonderful transfer print of a pair of quails or snipe. The background is a soft white with grasses in pastel colors. The plate is trimmed on diameter in flow blue with gold highlights and details.

Although this is marked to back, it is unreadable. After much searching I believe this might be either an old Sevres or Cook Pottery Co., stamp and believe the dating is between 1908 - 1920.

Measurements: 9-1/4” across its graceful, scalloped edges.

The plate has some utensil scratches as well as some brown coming thru from back as seen in the pictures but this doesn’t detract from it’s look - keep in mind it's age.

There are no cracks or chips, but there is some wear to the flow blue edges. Such a lovely, colorful plate. This looks great displayed.
