This necklace is a breathtaking mix of color and texture and conjures images of high-stepping dancers in eyelet petticoats. I 've used three artisan lampwork focals that I have been hoarding for use in separate pieces but have just decided that excess is better in many cases, this being one. I've complimented the focals with additional handmade artisan lampwork, all of a very unusual, intriguing and ornate variety.

Twinkling obsidian rondels and rounds are combined with Swarovski crystals in shades of rose and aquamarine and act as spacers, along with a variety of sterling silver chain, between the lampwork stations.

CAN-CAN culminates in a tasseled sterling silver pendant. The necklace is approximately 39 inches long and the pendant adds another 4 inches.

This is definitely ART TO WEAR, a one-of-kind piece made from very special one-of-a kind components.
