Nantucket was my quick get away destination when we lived in the Boston area. For 10 years straight, we made our summer pilgrimage via ferry to this tiny charming island. In addition to the spring daffodil festival, stunning hydrangeas are profuse on the island. This rainbow of colors varies from pink to violet to blue - depending on the acidity of the soil.

The Hydrangea Necklace pays homage to the diversity of colors found in the bounty of the island’s second most well know flowers. Dainty little briolettes of Pink Topaz, Swiss Blue Topaz, Prehnite, Lavender Chalcedony, Kyanite and Pink Amethyst are delicately poised on twisted little branches of Argentium silver wire fanning out from the luxe smooth hydrothermal green quartz briolette. A charming little “S” hook allows the wearer to adjust the length from 16” to 18” where a generous Pink Amethyst bud at the end of the chain provides an encore as you walk away.
