Edwardian Sterling Silver Marcasite and Sodalite Demi Parure

An amazing set of Edwardian jewelry. This fine set is a sterling silver sodalite stone and marcasite necklace and bracelet. This set is very old and very rare to find even one piece let alone a set of necklace and bracelet. The necklace is composed of lovely sterling silver links, some having a swirl design in them, and leading down to open sterling silver links that have beautiful marcasite stones set in them. These links connect to open backed sterling silver sets that have 1" prong set sodalite stones set in them. These sodalite stones are amazing looking and there are three on the necklace. The back of one of the sterling silver sets for the sodalite stone is signed "Sterling" in clear inscription. The necklace is also fastened with a great spring ring clasp that holds very well. The bracelet is very much the same having two links with marcasite pieces set in them leading to two prong set sodalite stones. These sodalite stones connect to two parallel marcasite and sterling silver links that meet at a lovely prong set sodalite stone in the center. The back of one of the sodalite sets is signed "Sterling" and the entire bracelet is fastened by a beautiful spring ring clasp that hold very well. The necklace measures 17" long and the bracelet is 7 1/8" long. This set is very old but still looks to be in great condition for both pieces.
