Wonderful bakelite necklace with gorgeous cherry fruits design. This necklace is comprised of red celluloid links that have green bakelite leaves hooked by gold tone metal links. The chain leads down to the center which is made up of bakelite cherries on green strings as stems with extra foliage in the form of bakelite green leaves. This piece is fastened by a large spring ring clasp that holds very securely. The necklace measures 16" long with the cherries measuring 1 3/4" long by 1 3/4" wide. The earrings are great composed of a bakelite cherry with a small stem and leaf at the top and gold toned clips on the back. The clips hold very nicely and the set looks very great when worn. These pieces have passed all the bakelite tests and are even featured in some bakelite books. The earrings measure 1 7/8" by 7/8". A great bakelite cherry set.
