Fascinating piece of McClelland Barclay jewelry. This brooch is exquisite with a gorgeous leaf design making up the gold-toned plated metal work. This brooch has dazzling strips of silver toned metal that hold in their grasp many tiny white rhinestones that look great. Some are a bit darkened but that is understandable because of the age and it adds a bit of natural patina to the piece. A total of 56 white rhinestones of different sizes decorate this piece and they are all present with no chips or scratches. The back of this brooch shows off the gold toned plating that has a bit of scratching but nothing that takes from the beauty of this awesome pin. The pin clasp is in excellent condition and holds very well. The signature "McClelland Barclay" is evident in a rectangular plaque underneath the clasp. The pin measures 1 3/4" tall by 3" wide and this item is one I have never seen before this piece. A priceless McClelland Barclay brooch.
