Vintage Valentine Bakelite Heart Pin ~ This adorable key of my heart pin is made of red Bakelite material and has a nice red Bakelite key that comes with it. The heart has a string hole at its top and a key hole in the center. Both pieces pass the standard tests and prove to be true phenolic (bakelite) jewels. The measurements for the heart are 2" tall by 1 3/4" wide and the key measures 2 1/2" long. The piece that attaches the key to the heart is missing but could be easily replaced. The back of the key has the clasp and it is in fine working order. Overall this old Valentines item is in great condition.
