A marvelous piece of McClelland Barclay Art Deco jewelry. This is a lovely necklace made with amazing chrome metal and sapphire colored gemstones. The necklace is composed of a lovely chrome metal that makes up the chain and foundation for the pendant. The pendant section has a tiny round chrome metal pendant with three pave set white rhinestones surrounding a large emerald cut sapphire colored gemstone in the center. This leads to the pendant having many gorgeous pave set white rhinestones surrounding two large pear cut sapphire gemstones and one large emerald cut gemstone. The back of the pendant is signed "McClelland Barclay", although the signature is quite faded, and the necklace has a fold over style clasp that holds very well. The entire piece measures 19 1/2" long with the pendant section being 3" long by 2" in width and this necklace is in great condition considering it's age being made between 1936 and 1940.
