A marvelous pair of earrings with an Egyptian revival motif. This fabulous pair is made up of a nice brass metal that forms a screw back setting with an amazing sphinx head design being attached to the screw back piece. This section connects to a dangling piece of brass metal that makes a sort of tear drop shape that is decorated with interesting Egyptian symbols. Of these symbols there is an ankh and a scarab that I can recognize and the rest just look very artistic. The center of this section has a bezel set red rhinestone and the base of it has a brass filigree floral design in a crescent shape that looks gorgeous. The earrings are screw backs which holds well and both measure a little over 1 1/8" in length. These earrings are in fantastic condition and have such an interesting appeal and appearance. An unbelievable pair of Egyptian revival sphinx earrings.
