A wonderful piece of Art Deco jewelry from the 1920s to 1930s period. This fabulous necklace is a lavaliere that drapes so perfectly off of a low cut neckline. This flattering piece of jewelry is made up of a nice rhodium plated metal foundation that makes up amazing triangle shaped settings that are graduated in size and progressively get bigger as they move towards the center. These sections inter-change having some covered in prong set white rhinestones that look amazing and the others covered in a red enameling that is great. The necklace chain section meets in the center and from there forms a dangling centerpiece motif with the same switching enameled pieces and rhinestone covered links. The very end of this dangle section is a tear drop shaped red enameled section that has dangling strands of rhodium plated metal holding white rhinestone accents. This necklace is fastened with a gold over style clasp that holds well and the entire piece measures 18 1/2" long with the center drop section being 4 1/2" in length. This necklace has no wear or missing rhinestones and considering it's age and condition it is surely a must have item. A magnificent Art Deco red enameled lavaliere necklace.
