Doric Depression Green Tray With Handles by Jeannette Glass

Jeannette Glass produced this green tray with handles in depression green circa 1935 – 1938. It is approximately 10.25 inches in diameter not counting the handles and in good condition with only minor wear. There are some small light stacking scratches that can bee seen in reflective light, along with a couple of small straw marks and a rough mold seam on the handle from the manufacturing process at that time. The glass is crisp and clear and has no sickness and is amazing that a piece of glass over 70 years old can look this good. And as with most depression green glass of the period it does glow green because of the uranium content, and it is not Vaseline glass.
