Antique German bisque Armand Marseille shoulder head doll, 21" tall, on premium, desirable, original factory kidolene rivet jointed body with heavy composition lower limbs.

Bisque shoulder head has blue, blown glass sleep eyes in original set, with original hair lashes, outlined eye cuts with painted upper and lower lashes, accented eye corners, nostrils, and open mouth with four upper teeth. The back of her shoulder plate is incised "370 // A.M. 2 1/2 DEP // Armand Marseille // made in Germany". She retains her original human hair wig and pate.

Factory original kidolene body has the desirable composition lower arms and legs and rivet joints. The body has a bit of a glue stain on the back which can likely be picked off if one has patience, but it does not present a problem and is not sticky. The hands show some minor wear to the fingers, but the original composition finish is still shiny and clean.

Doll is dressed in an antique printed red corduroy dress with fancy decorative buttons, grosgrain hem trim, and lace collar and cuffs. She wears vintage socks and replacement shoes in the correct style.

Condition: Excellent; no chips, cracks, or repairs to the bisque head. Left eye is a tad misaligned which can be fixed by stuffing the head with tissue, or having the eyes realigned by a doll doctor (an inexpensive job).
