Final Offering Sale Price ~ This lovely two piece silk doll costume was likely meant to be worn by a French Bebe due to the generous waist measurements.

The costume is mostly hand-stitched in slate blue and cream striped silk with royal blue silk yoke and accent at cuff inner edge. The bodice has a pigeon breasted gathered front and buttons down the back and is fully lined

The skirt is also lined and has a gathered ruffle at the hem edge. It is lined in a gauze type fabric.

Bodice Measurements: 5-1/2" shoulders (between sleeve seams only); 11-1/8" waist; 4-1/4" sleeve at underarm seam; 6" sleeve from shoulder to wrist; 6" circumference of upper arm; 5" length front neck to waist; 5-1/2" length back neck to waist; sleeve cuff opening 3-5/8".

Skirt: 11-1/2" waist; 11" long.

Condition is excellent with a few light age stains which do not detract and no melting, tears, or odors.

Lovely silk bebe costume in fine condition for your Jumeau bebe or similar French doll, probably 20" - 24" tall. Please check measurements to be sure of fit and feel free to email your doll body measurements to be checked against the garment.
